Talan 4331 summer high tactical boots in classic black are the ideal solution for service and active work in the warm season. Dense smooth chrome-tanned leather combined with breathable Cordura® inserts ensures reliability and durability, while the waterproof ePTFE membrane creates an optimal microclimate inside the boot, effectively wicking moisture away from the foot. The 8" (20.5 cm) shaft provides extra ankle support, and the dual-density polyurethane-rubber outsole with a self-cleaning tread guarantees confident grip on any surface. The anatomical Italian StaBene Max Comfort last together with the two-layer Vildona memory-foam insole system makes these boots ideal for long service, tactical missions and uniform duties. A single boot in US 8.5 (EU 42) weighs 25.6 oz (725 g).

Solid boots for the money. Feet don't overheat in them and the sole holds up on gravel. Delivery took a little longer than I expected, but the boots were worth the wait.

Good quality for the price, leather and stitching are done right. I didn't know there was a difference between winter and summer membranes — this model is made for summer, which is exactly what I was after.

Bought them for summer work, the black nubuck looks sharp and holds its shape. Ankle support in the 8-inch shaft is solid without being stiff.
